This notice explains how we handle the personal information you give us through our contact form, email and WhatsApp.

Who we are

What we collect

Whatever you choose to send us: usually your name, contact details and what you need help with.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

• To respond to your enquiry. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).

We do not use your details for marketing and we do not sell them.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for [12 months, TO CONFIRM] after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer, in which case we keep records as needed for the job and for legal and accounting purposes.

Who we share it with

We use service providers to run this website and deliver your enquiry to us: Cloudflare (website hosting and form processing), Resend (which sends form messages to our inbox) and our email provider (Google Workspace). They act on our instructions. Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards are in place. If you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy also apply.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies or use tracking or analytics. Images are hosted on our own site.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your information, to restrict or object to how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email hello@simpletask.org.uk.
